HOW IT WORKS

Initial contact

You can make an enquiry via email and outline your concerns and areas you would like help with. We will then make a time to discuss your concerns over the phone. This initial telephone consultation is complimentary and will give us a chance to mutually assess suitability before scheduling the initial face-to-face or online appointment via Zoom.

Our first appointment

The first appointment is normally conducted face-to-face and is typically 1.5 hours long. This will give us a good amount of time to go through your areas of concerns and to discuss in more detail what you would like to get out of our sessions. Generally, by the end of the first session, we aim to form an initial plan of what we would like to focus on. I will be able to propose the kind of therapeutic approach that might be effective for you and provide a rough idea on the number of our sessions we would like to start with.

FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENTS

For ongoing therapy, follow-up appointments are generally 50 minutes. We can review therapy progress every 4-6 sessions to make sure that we are on track to reach your goals.

For specialist assessments, a battery of tests will be chosen according to your needs and concerns. The number of sessions, goals of the assessment(s) and number clinicians required will be discussed with you in advance.
